The team behind your Norfolk roof check.
Norfolk Solar is the local front door to an experienced, MCS-certified installation team. It gives Norfolk homeowners a route into solar that starts with their own roof, outbuildings and land, not a standard package.

Accredited, and checkable.
Behind Norfolk Solar stands an installation team with MCS certification, the benchmark for small solar and battery work and a condition of most export tariffs and grants, and TrustMark registration, a government-endorsed scheme for trades working on homes. A certified, registered firm on record pays off years later, if a warranty claim arises, if you switch supplier, or if you sell a house that has panels on it.
Where they apply, HIES protection and EPVS validation add consumer safeguards and independent checks on performance assumptions. These accreditations are held by the installation team rather than by the Norfolk Solar brand itself, and full company details are in our Privacy Policy.

How we check the numbers.
Proposals start with your own site, never a template: the roof, any outbuilding or ground, the shading and what you use. We model a year of generation and keep each assumption in plain view, which shows how far the projected benefit can be trusted. Independent checking of the performance assumptions applies where EPVS validation is available.
A short conversation may come before a proposal is written, to settle the details of your property. The survey that follows checks the roof, the shading and the electrics on site.
From your roof check to switch-on.
Tell us about your home
A few quick questions on the property and your electricity use.
Suitability review
We check whether solar looks worthwhile and what the next step should be.
Survey and proposal
A surveyor visits, then you receive a clear, itemised proposal.
Installation
Fitting a home tends to take a day or two, and you get a walk-through of the system before the installer leaves.
Solar, storage and charging, planned together.
Solar, storage and charging can be designed as one system or phased in. Read about solar installation, battery storage and EV charging for the detail on each. Norfolk has around 11,000 listed buildings, and many properties we survey, from flint cottages to pantile-roofed farmhouses, sit in a conservation area or need extra thought because of their age and roof material. That goes into the first review, rather than coming up after you have committed.
Product and performance warranties from the manufacturer come with each system, along with workmanship cover. Your proposal confirms the precise terms.
Check your roof
Describe your Norfolk property and what you are thinking about, and we will say whether it looks suitable and what comes next.
Free and no obligation. Asking about payment options is not a finance application and won't affect your credit file.
Getting in touch costs nothing and carries no commitment. If the property looks suitable we may ask for a few details.
